Jammu, Apr 6 : One accused namely Vimal Jyoti Sharma, son of Mani Ram Sharma resident of W.No.16 Kathua wanted in case FIR No. 337.2012 U/S 498-A /406 RPC P/S Kathua was detained by Immigration Authority at Chennai Airport when he boarded off from an incoming flight from Singapore.
The accused was evading arrest for more than six months and was staying at Singapore. District Police Kathua had issued a Look out notice of the above accused to all immigration check points. A Police party headed by Inspector Pardeep Sharma has been dispatched to Chennai to take the accused into police custody.
