UDHAMPUR, June 7: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past over seven years.
As per police sources, a police team from Udhampur police station headed by SHO Mahesh Sharma arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2007.
The accused have been identified as Nazir Ahmed, son of Leb Din, a resident of Bottel, district Udhampur.
The absconder was wanted in four different cases registered with Udhampur and Rehmbal police stations. Four warrants under Section 512 were also issued against the accused by the Court.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
