JAMMU, Nov 28: Akhnoor police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past five years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Akhnoor Police Station arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2008.
The absconder has been identified as Rash Paul, son of Parkash, resident of Raja Chack, Akhnoor.
The accused was involved in a case registered with Akhnoor Police Station under FIR number 117/2008 under Section 341 and 323 RPC.
He was produced in the Court of Law.
