DODA, Mar 3: Gandoh police today arrested an absconder after about 13 years.
“A police party of police station Gandoh arrested one absconder namely Natha Singh son of Tirth Ram, resident of Alnigangota, tehsil Gandoh,” a police official said.
He said that the absconder was involved in cases FIR number 22/2007 under Sections 302/34134/201 RPC and FIR number 44/2016 under Sections 307, 325, 379, 148, 147, 504, 506, 201, 323 RPC of police station Gandoh and was evading his arrest since long.
“JMIC Gandoh had issued warrants under Section 512 CrPC against the absconder. Accordingly, Gandoh police activated the sources as well as enquired from the relatives of absconders and finally on the tip of reliable sources, a police party arrested the absconders,” the official added.
The arrest was made by SI Mohd Shafi, Incharge police post Changa and SHO police station Gandoh Inpector Arun Parkash under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh.
