JAMMU, Nov 17: Chowk Chabutra police arrested an absconder from Reasi, who was evading his arrest for the past many years.
As per police sources, a team from Chowk Chabutra Police Post arrested an absconder from Reasi, who was at large since 2009.
The arrested absconder has been identified as Baldev Singh alias Baldev Nath, son of Ram Dass, a resident of Panasa, tehsil Thakrakot, district Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 83/2005 under Section 147 and 323 RPC with Police Station Pacca Danga. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Chowk Chabutra Police Post SI Purab Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SDPO City Varun Jandial and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
