JAMMU, Aug 23: RS Pura Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Sharma and assisted by PSI Amit Singh and PSI Dawanshu Dutt under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused was identified as Lucky Kumar, son of Manga Ram of Purana Pind RS Pura District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 168/2022 under sections 307, 376, 326 and 506 IPC with Police Station RS Pura.
The accused had poured some inflammatory chemical in a house leading to burn injuries to four members of a family including two children.
It is pertinent to mention that accused was a notorious criminal of desperate character having different cases registered against him including one attempt to murder case.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
