POONCH, July 15: The police today nabbed an absconder evading arrest from last five years in Poonch district.
Official sources said that on April 17, 2017, a case under FIR No. 46/2017 U/S 376 RPC was registered at Police Station Poonch against the accused person namely Mohd Tariq, son of Mohd Rasheed, resident of Sheendhra in Poonch. After the commission of offence the accused fled away and went to Saudi Arabia.
The said accused was evading his arrest for the last 5 years. Today the accused person got arrested by a Police team headed by SHO Poonch Ranjeet Singh Rao. After the completion of the investigation the case was challaned in court of law against the accused person.
