JAMMU, Sept 21: Sidhra police apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, a team from Sidhra Police Post arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Bunty Kumar, son of Darshan Kumar, a resident of Trikuta Nagar.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 232/2008 under Section 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Nagrota. The court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against the absconder.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Sidhra Police Post SI Tariq made the arrest under the supervision SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Manhas, SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
