ABKMS takes out Rath Yatra from Jammu to Kanyakumari

JAMMU, Aug 9: Akhil-Bhartiya Kshtriya Maha Sabha took out a Rath Yatra from Jammu to Kanyakumari to create awareness about the reservation policy and also demanding  its re-hatch.
In this regard today the 9th of Aug, 2017 the historic day of India when the “Quite India Movement” was started under the able leadership of our freedom fighters, Akhil Bhartiya Kshitriya Maha Sabha(ABKMS) led by Th Mahinder Singh Tanwar and other leaders of ABKMS representing almost all the States of India started a “Rath Yatra” from Jammu to Kanyakumari to create the awareness in the public about the struggle they have started about the reservation policy in the jobs etc to the people of this Country on the basis of economic conditions instead of caste basis.
First of all today at 8:30 am “Hawan yagya” was performed in the Shri Lakshami Narayan Mandir Complex Gandhi Nagar, Jammu to have the blessings of God in which prominent Kshitriyas representing different States of the Country including Th Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister and Patron ABKMS, Th Mahinder Singh Tanwar (Advocate) working President ABKMS, Anil Singh Chandle from M.P (Gen. Sec ABKMS), Harinder Pal Singh form Haryana, Th Vijay Singh from Telangana (Hyderabad), Maj Gen GS Jamwal, Ravi Singh Slathia the State President ABKMS, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Brig M.S Jamwal and many others participated.
Thereafter at 11:00 am an impressive Rath Yatra was flagged off by Th Gulchain Singh Charak the Patron of ABKMS which passing through the Gole Market Gandhi Nagar reached at Maharaja Hari Singh Chowk near Tawi bridge where rich tributes were paid to the Late Great Maharaja. Then Yatra proceeded to the “Raja Jambulochan Chowk” where the statue of Raja Jambulochan  and Lion and the Goat drinking water at the pond together were profusely garlanded and rich tributes were paid to the “founder of Jammu”. Thereafter, a group of senior Kshatriya leaders went to pay their obeisance at Shri Ram Temple in the Raj Talik Bhawan Purani Mandi, Jammu.
After that at 2:00 pm the Rath Yatra proceeded to Punjab for onward journey to Kanyakumari.
