ABKMS organises congregation on its Foundation Day

JAMMU, Oct 19: A large congregation of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Maha Sabha (ABKMS) was held here today to celebrate 125th Foundation Day of the Maha Sabha.
A large number of delegates from different States participated in the event which was presided over by the national president of ABKMS, Dinesh Pratap Singh.
The congregation was addressed by various delegates who highlighted the activities and achievements of their respective units in their States.
Resolution to pay homage to martyrs of security forces who are sacrificing their lives while safeguarding the motherland was passed on this occasion.
The congregation also resolved to step up efforts to the strengthen unity among community members at national level and to preserve culture and heritage of the community and renovate and maintain the heritage sites like Mubarak Mandi Complex and forts in J&K upto Ladakh.
The congregation demanded Bharat Ratna for Late Maharaja Hari Singh who integrated the then State of J&K with Union of India.
The demand for a public holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh was also raised besides the demand of reservations for Kshatriya Samaj on economic basis.
More demands included creation of Rajput Welfare Board in J&K.
