JAMMU, Mar 30: A very old temple at Vivekanand crossing today has been handed over to Mahant of Kailash Ashram Chinore, Swami Divyanand Saraswati Ji.
A small function was organised in this connection where certain rituals were performed and Swami Divyanand Saraswati Ji, a seer of Arya Samaj was appointed to take care of the temple and manage its affairs.
It is pertinent to mention here that the temple was lying abandoned for quite some time and there was none to take its care.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were BJP leaders Yudhvir Sethi, former Minister, Priya Sethi and Arun Arya, General Secretary of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K.
