*Puri joins party with dozen of supporters

JAMMU, May 12: Former Minister and AAP leader Harsh Dev Singh said that the people from all walks of life were joining the AAP as they were impressed by the pro-people policies of the Party and the work of Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal Government.
“Now J&K people have made up their mind that they will bring AAP’s Government to eradicate corruption from J&K,” he said.
It was stated by him while addressing media during the induction programme organised at Hotel Asia wherein executive committee member of Amar Singh Club and former secretary of Industrial Association Samba, Vikram Puri and their supporters joined the AAP in presence of president Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency, Amit Kapoor.
The program was attended by the top leaders of the Party from Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir including Gaurav Sharma Prabhari Jammu province, Harpreet Singh IT in-charge J&K, Amrit Wattal president Youth Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Paramveer Singh and many others.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Puri stressed that the people of Jammu needed a change and to make that change possible he was joining the Party. He emphasised that Jammu and Kashmir needs to emulate the Delhi and Punjab model adopted by the AAP especially in the field of education, power supply and health services.
“AAP has introduced several schemes that have been much appreciated and have helped to improve the lives of the people to a great extent like ‘Mohalla Clinic Scheme’ which has been highly appreciated by the people across the country,” Puri said.
He asserted that the people were constantly joining the AAP after seeing phenomenal work being done by Kejriwal’s Government in all sectors including schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads and public welfare.
Many prominent persons including Ashok Kumar Sharma, former Deputy Commandant BSF, Advocate Leena Devi, Advocate Ravinder Parihar, Advocate Sunil Sharma, Rahul Gandotra, Suresh Kumar, Shivali Bhagat, Lokesh Verma, Abhinav Sharma and among others joined the AAP through online during the function which was organized by Gourav Sarngal (Advocate) under the guidance of Gourav Sharma (In-charge Jammu province), in presence of Navneet Mishra, executive member and OP Khajuria, convenor Jammu province.
