‘AAP to contest all upcoming polls in J&K’

SRINAGAR, Jan 16: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest all upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir and pro-people governance model of Delhi will also be implemented in J&K with party cadre gearing up for upcoming polls in the Union Territory.
This was stated by senior AAP leaders while addressing a party cadre meeting of Kashmir province held in party’s Kashmir office. The meeting was chaired by AAP Kashmir province Incharge Salahudin Khan and Incharge Organization Building in Kashmir, Anurag Mishra.
In this meeting, AAP’s Provincial unit office bearers from Kashmir province as well as district presidents of Kashmir and other senior party leaders were present. The participants presented a report card of party activities and programmes in Kashmir, besides sharing road map for activities to be held in near future.
They said people from all walks of life are joining AAP which is the real strength for the Party while people are also looking at AAP as the only political option to bring J&K out of chaos and uncertainty which present ruling setup has created.
In official statement issued with regard to this meeting, AAP stated that it will contest all upcoming elections in J&K that especially include Panchayat elections, Municipal elections as well as Assembly elections.
“AAP is now the first choice of the people of J&K and they are looking up at AAP as the only option to rescue them from the clutches of bureaucratic setup in which grievances of people are finding no takers,” the Party further said.
It also mentioned about a series of meetings held across J&K in recent past wherein party cadre has been tasked to remain prepare and to gear up for upcoming elections and to further strengthen the cadre.
“AAP is now in every house of J&K and it will replicate the model of governance and pro-people working which has been implemented in Delhi and now in Punjab and has brought revolution in all aspects,” the Party said.
