Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam on Oct 28: Director

JAMMU, Aug 9: Aakash Educational Services Limited announced Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE). This scholarship exam will be for students studying in class 8th, 9th and 10th.
This was stated by Dr Raj Bhagat, Director, AESL Jammu while interacting with media persons here today.
He informed that the ANTHE will be held on October 28 across 22 states and union territories of the country. The last date of application is October 20 with an examination fee of Rs 300, he said, adding that like last year, this year as well as the students can pay the ANTHE fee through digital payment mode.
He said that the exam will be of 360 marks in total, carrying 90 MCQ type questions. These questions will test the knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Mental Ability for Class 8th, 9th and 10th studying students. The top 50 students will be eligible for upto 100 per cent waiver on tuition fee, admission fee, registration fee, technology and examination fee, while top 150 students will also be eligible for cash award scholarships as per the defined criteria by the organization.
“From class 10th studying students, top 500 students (who apply to our medical test preparatory course) and top 1000 students (who apply to our engineering test preparatory course) will be eligible for upto 100 per cent waiver on tuition fee, while top 150 students from each medical and engineering will also be eligible for cash award scholarships. Students below top ranks mentioned above will also be eligible for scholarships as per the company ANTHE course prospectus”, Dr Bhagat informed.
Aakash Chaudhry, Chief Executive Officer and Whole-time Director AESL, said, “We are overwhelmed by the response ANTHE received every year. Given the mainstream role of digitization, this year we are taking ANTHE to the next level by introducing the ANTHE App. Students will now be able to access everything on their fingertips. Additionally, for the benefit of the students this year in addition to pen and paper-based test, we are conducting ANTHE in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode encouraged by Government’s decision to conduct entrance examinations such as NEET and JEE (Main) online”.
