People want Congress back to power: Dr Manohar

BILLAWAR, Aug 9: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today addressed a largely attended public meeting in Kandi area of Billawar constituency where he said that people wanted Congress back to power.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sharma said that BJP has brought an era of darkness for the young generation of J&K as the party, while ruling the State, failed completely in providing jobs to educated youth.  “Employees and youth of the State have faced the maximum wrath of this weak and incapable BJP leadership, which failed in utilizing the potential of the youth,” he added.
Dr Sharma said that even the illiterate also had to face the burnt of the policies of BJP Government as thousands of road side vendors were deprived of their livelihood on the name of anti-encroachment drives without any back up plan of rehabilitation.
Dr Sharma said that people have understood now religious politics of BJP and are eagerly waiting for Congress to come into power as this party is the only hope of people in this time of unsaid emergency brought by failed leadership of BJP.
People from different walks of life attended the meeting and apprised Dr Manohar of their hardships Several speakers shared the stage and expressed their helplessness and   hardships they are facing under the BJP regime.
They also expressed their heartfelt desire to bring Congress back into power as they are fed up by the hollow promises of BJP, which kept befooling them for the last four years by fake promises everyday without getting anything concrete on the ground.
