JAMMU, Aug 26: Aakash Bharat, a Youth Congress leader from district Kathua has been appointed as president of J&K Youth Congress.
A party spokesman said that appointment was made by All India Youth Congress president, BV Srinivas on the recommendation of the election commission of the party. Four Youth Congress leaders from J&K were in the race and Aakash Bharat, secured highest votes.
He replaced Uday Bhanu Chib, the former J&K Youth Congress president, hailing from Jammu North constituency, the spokesman said.
