JAMMU, June 18: Describing the Union Government’s decision of linking electoral rolls with Aadhar as a historic electoral reform, BJP J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri today said that once the exercise is completed, there will be no possibility of bogus voters and at the same time, new eligible voters will be able to get themselves enrolled four times in a year, which is quite an appreciable move.
He said, Narendra Modi government is bringing massive reforms in the country and this one will nail bogus as well as fake voters who had become a nuisance in one of the world’s largest democracies.
“Now that the notifications in this regard has been issued in consultation with the Election Commission, India will head towards the most transparent electioneering, leaving no scope for multiple voters or even bogus ones casting their votes at different locations,” Raman Suri maintained.
