JAMMU, Apr 15: Police today seized a TATA Mobile and rescued four bovine animals being smuggled in it at village Khari under the jurisdiction of Chinore Police Post.
A bovine smuggler identified as Mushtaq Ahmad son of Sher Ali R/o Jhiri, Kanachak managed to escape from the spot.
Police intercepted the TATA Mobile at a naka and seized it. All four bovine animals being smuggled in the vehicle were rescued.
Police have registered a case in the smuggling at Chinore Police Post.
Police party headed by Chinore Police Post Sub Inspector Rakesh Manni made the arrest.
