LDC, Police, Forest staff launch beautification drive

LATTI (Dudu), June 18: The members of Latti Development Committee (LDC), local police led by SHO Pawan Dogra and Forest staff today launched special beautification drive at this hill station where local tourists have started coming amid covid-19.
Official sources said that on the initiatve of Chairman LDC, Kasturi Lal Gupta (Sarpanch), the SHO Pawan Dogra and Forest staff headed by Madan Lal- Blcok officer, besides members of the Committee today launched beautification- cum-cleanliness drive in Latti town and removed garbage, empty bottles, plastic items from the main town, forest meadows and pastures where tourists spend time under thick Deodar trees in and around town.
They said this drive would continue in Latti-Dudu area for the next few days and new dustbins, flower pots, benchnes and public awareness boards would be placed at some places here. Local Rural Development authorities have assured full support for this drive.
