DLSA organizes awareness prog on Coronavirus

RAJOURI, June 17: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) under the guidance of its Chairman Jaffer Hussain Beg organized an awareness programme on the facts and myths about Coronavirus with active participation of Social Welfare Department Rajouri at Daksh Boys Hostel Dassal, here.
The programme was organized under the patronage of Chief Justice, Justice Gita Mittal and Executive Chairman UT Legal Services Authority J&K Justice Rajesh Bindal.
On the occasion, Secretary DLSA Meyank Gupta, District Social Welfare Officer Rajouri Mohammad Naseeb and Counsellor Child Protection were present.
Chairman DLSA interacted with the inmates of the hostel and made them understand how they protect themselves from the effect of Coronavirus. He stressed upon the inmates to wear masks in crowded placed and to maintain proper hygiene in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Chairman also distributed masks, sanitizers and soaps among the inmates of the hostel.
Counsellor Child Protection, Social Welfare Department Rajouri demonstrated the inmates of the hostel how to wash hands with soap, how to wear masks and to main social distancing in crowded areas.
