Several organizations launch UDA

JAMMU, June 12: Considering the continuous discrimination with Jammu region even post abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, several political and non-political organizations launched United Democratic Alliance (UDA) here today.
With the aim to fight for the well being of people of JK UT and protect their rights, Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena, J&K, was unanimously announced as Convenor of UDA while retired IGP Sudhir Dogra as General Secretary. J&K President Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan has been nominated as Spokesperson and Media Incharge.
Sainik Samaj Party President Col SS Pathania, Hindustan Shiv Sena President Vikrant Kapoor, Kanti Dal President Pritam Sharma, Hindu Shiv Sena Jammu-Kashmir President Krishan Manhas, JKPF President Satish Poonchi and Shiv Sena Hindusthan President Rajesh Kesari were nominated as co-convener.
After first meeting today, the UDA members raised voice to revoke SRO-202 unconditionally and immediately.
Convenor Manish Sahni said that those who claim that one Constitution and one law was enacted by repealing Article 370, are not able to abolish equal work and different pay today.
He said that keeping in mind the principle of equal pay for equal work, the Government should eliminate SRO-202 which is discriminatory and grave injustice to the youth of JKUT.
