JAMMU, Apr 23: J&K Non Gazetted Electrical Employees Association (JKNGEEA) today expressed its serious concern over the delay in releasing the salaries of employees in most of the divisions of both permanent employees and daily wagers, engaged in power sector.
They said in view of prevailing situation arising due to outbreak of COVID-19, the employees risking their lives and ensuring the smooth functioning of power supply throughout the J&K UT but unfortunately, the officials at helm of affairs deliberately inordinate delay in releasing their salary.
Moreover, hundreds of pension cases related to SRO 59 are still pending in AG’s office Jammu and Srinagar since last more than two years and department concerned seems least bothered about it.
Mohd Maqbool, Gurmeet Singh Zakir Hussain Shah and Surinder Kumar demanded the Government and authorities concerned to address the above issues without further delay so that employees can get relief from present sufferings.
