JAMMU, Apr 20: Distribution of ration and essential items continued in different areas of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
J&K Bank distributed ration in Udhampur and Rajouri Zones. Based on the list provided by the district administration, Zonal Head Sushil Gupta and Cluster Head Rajesh Gupta in presence of ADDC Udhampur Ashok Kumar and ACD Mushtaq Ahmed distributed dry ration among 80 needy families in Sattani area of District Udhampur and also provided ration to more than 20 families through Business unit Ghordi at Barmeen area. The bank’s Zonal Head Jammu west Ashutosh Sareen along with the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri distributed dry ration, sanitizers and masks to the homeless laborers and daily wagers.

Jammu team of Khalsa Aid handed over full body kits, masks and sanitizers to SSP Samba Shakti Pathak. Khalsa Aid also delivered body kits, masks and sanitizers to Government Medical College Jammu for doctors and other paramedical staff.
Jammu & Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party Secretary Rekha Mahajan, handed over 3000 face masks to the J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina in the presence of Former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Former MLC Vikram Randhawa, Party Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi, Programme and Abhiyaan Coordinator Ajay Pargal, Jaidev Jajwal, Ishant Mahajan and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
Gandhi Global Family Jammu City distributed necessary ration and face masks among stranded migrant families identified by Police Post Panjtirthi, Jammu particularly SI Vinod Sharma. The relief items are distributed by GGF Jammu City Chapter in presence of GGF J&K President Dr SP Varma at Radio Station Chowk Jammu. Er K K Mattoo, former Chief Engineer PWD and Advisor GGF, Ravinder Singh former Director Education Jammu and GGF Advisor Jammu, Jaswinder Singh GGF Advisor Jammu City, Choudhary Amanat Ali GGF Member Jammu, Raman Sharma GGF Coordinator Jammu City, Suresh Abrol, Raghav Changotra, Bobby Kohli, Rajinder Anand, Amit Varma and Ankush Varma distributed relief materials among the needy people in the city.

J&K Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib distributed ration among more than 100 families of Mohallah Buta Nagar, Slarain and its adjoining areas of Paloura in Jammu.
Neena Gupta Corporator Ward Number 50, Channi Himmat distributed free rashion among 100 families in co-operation with Trikuta Nagar Sang Karyewah (RSS) in Sector 3 Channi Himmat. Others present were Balwan Singh, Poonam Gupta, Kamlesh, Abhishek Sharma and Amit Sharma.
Brahman Sabha Akhnoor distributed essentials commodities and financial aid among religious men and priest in Akhnoor with the help of Sunil Sharma (Industrialist) and Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust President Mahant Rohit Shastri. On the occasion, Brahman Sabha Akhnoor President Ashok Shastri, Tehsildar Amit Sharma and SHO Akhnoor Inspector Pardeep Sharma were also present.
Former MLA Bhaderwah Dalip Singh Parihar distributed ration among 650 BPL families in Diggi, Gajoth and Khellani Panchayats of Bhadarwah. District Vice President Sanjay Saraf, Bhadarwah Municipal Committee Vice President Rishi Kotwal, Mandal Pradhan Chinta Bihari Lal and Vijay Kumar were among others present on the occasion.
Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation distributed masks and soaps to the families of Maratha Bhasti in Ward Number 53 along with Councilor Jyoti Devi.
Panch Sheetal Kumari from Village Sultanpur donated 100 hand made face masks to Third Eye Anti Crime Team for distribution among locals of different villages in Bishnah. Councillor from MC Bishnah Ward No 1, Mamta Devi, Ward No 10 Kulbir Singh, Ward No 12 Ajay Nanda, Social Worker Rajinder Billa, Kaneiya, Panches from Village Sikanderpur, Councillor from Municipal Committee Bishnah Sahil Gupta, Members of the organization included Krishan Lal, Manmohan Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Tushar Digra, Rakesh and other volunteers were also present on the occasion.
J-VI Bn of Border Security Force distributed free ration and relief material in Rajouri. A team headed by ID Singh, Deputy Inspector General, BSF and other senior officers of the force visited the slum area near Vishal Mega Mart and distributed free ration and relief material among 60 families.
Dry ration was distribution amongst poor families by District Police Reasi in village Tukson, Angralla and Shadool area of Gulabgarh. 60 combo packets of ration were distributed amongst poor families.
The members of JKP Volunteers for COVID-19 crisis today donated the dry ration to the destitutes and poor villagers of Ladhwal and Rakh Jadokh Panchayats under the patronage of SSP Rambam Haseeb-ur-Rehman and supervision of SHO Batote Inspector Niaz Malik. The team was led by social activist Rashid Malik and the ration was distributed through the concerned Sarpanches. At Ladhwal Sarpanch Poonam Devi distributed the ration among needy persons of her Panchayat in presence of Rashid Malik and other team members.
