JAMMU, Apr 20: Kranti Dal president Pritam Sharma strongly protested against PHE Department for not making smooth supply of water in Sharika Vihar, lower Roop Nagar, Jammu during lockdown period.
Kranti Dal workers come out on road and protested against laziness of PHE Department. They said that people are facing lot of inconvenience due to irregular supply of water in Sharika Vihar and its adjoining areas.
Pritam Sharma said that there is low pressure of water which cannot meet the requirement of the people on daily basis. “Moreover, water is supllied on alternate days which forces the people to come out during the lockdown,” he added.
He urged the LG to take stern action against erring officer and ensure proper supply of water with full pressure on daily basis. He also demanded proper functioning of all the 13 tube wells in lower Roop Nagar so that people can get smooth supply of water on daily basis.
