More organisations condemn attack on Gurdwara in Kabul

JAMMU, Mar 26: More organisations have strongly condemned the attack on Gurdwara at Kabul in Afghanistan by terrorists yesterday.
Jammu & Kashmir Gurdwara Parbandhak Board (JKGPB), District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu and other Sikh organisations have strongly condemned the barbaric and inhuman act of killing of innocent Sikh devotees which include women and children in a Gurdwara Sahib in Afghanistan by terrorists yesterday.
T S Wazir, Ex MLC and Chairman SGPB J&K in a statement termed the act as extremely brutal which reflects the devilish mindset of perpetrators and their supporters and appealed the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to take up the matter with the United Nations and direct the Indian Commission in Afghanistan to provide all possible assistance and help to the affected families including those who have been seriously injured.
He also called upon the International Community that this is the high time to realize that such barbarism can’t be allowed to continue and it must be crushed with full force as it is a threat to civilization and it must take special measures to protect minorities’ world over.
All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has condemned the terrorist attack on a Gurdwara in Kabul in which 30 Sikhs were killed. The Committee has demanded proper protection of the minorities including Sikhs living in the different parts of the Globe.
Expressing outrage over the attack on Gurdwara and subsequent killings, APSCC Chairman, Jagmohan Singh Raina in a statement said that human values continue to be trampled over by the elements that are inimical to peace and prosperity in the world. Raina said that only an insane can target a religious place like Gurdwara and then kill innocents.
National Conference (NC) today condemned the terror attack in a Gurdwara in Kabul, killing many worshipers, and described it ghastly, barbaric and inhuman.
In a statement issued from Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here, senior National Conference leaders expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for peace to departed souls.
The statement described terrorism as a grave challenge to civilised world and called for a united fight against the scourge. The world has to be freed from the monster of terror, which has raised its ugly head in various manifestations and for this the people, irrespective of religion, region, nationality and ethnicity will have to get together and foil all the machinations of elements inimical to peace.
J&K Congress strongly condemned the “heinous terrorist attack” on a Gurdwara in Kabul, resulting in loss of several lives and injuries to other worshipers.
“Such despicable attacks have no political, religious or moral justification and must be rejected outright,” J&K Congress vice president, G. M Saroori said in a statement today.
“Congress condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. All places of worship are sacrosanct and their sanctity must be respected at all times,” Saroori added.
