POONCH, Jan 10: A woman was crushed to death under a bus near Kalai in Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when the woman boarded off a bus and was crossing road. Another speeding bush crushed the woman to death on the spot this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Salima Bi (40), wife of Satter Din, resident of village Byla,Tehsil Mandi. The driver of the bus No.JK02P-3643 was caught by the people and handed over to police.
The accident vehicle has been ceased by the police and body of the victim was handed over to relatives after postmortem. A case has been registered in this connection.
