Gazetted holiday on Maharaja Hari Singh birth anniversary demanded

JAMMU, Dec 30: Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) expressed its indignation over not announcing the holiday on Maharaja Hari Singh birth anniversary after the holiday list released by UT Government.
Surinder Singh Gilli President YRS said that erstwhile J&K Government continued to ignore the voice of nationalist Dogras. He added that the people of J&K were expecting from Narendra Modi Government that a holiday would be announced on September 23.
Gilli said Dogras of J&K are disappointed and annoyed with the BJP for not including September 23 in holiday list of 2020.
He demanded to the Lt Governor GC Murmu to declare Gazetted holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, who made J&K integral part of the India.
