PULWAMA, Dec 16: District Development Commissioner, Dr Raghav Langer today convened a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC).
The DDC, who is also Chairman of the Committee, held a detailed discussion with concerned departments which are functioning from rented accommodations across the district, besides owners of these buildings also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, 9 cases pertaining to different departments running in private buildings including Industries, Education, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Drug Controller and Animal Husbandry were discussed.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to carry out a comprehensive survey of rented buildings as per valuation of buildings and submit revised rate assessment report so that payment of rents can be expedited to owners as per approved rates by the Administration.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, CEO, SE R&B and other senior officers.
