JAMMU, Oct 22: The Joint Action Committee of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation, J&K has demanded early conduct of DPC meet in both the divisions.
The employees from the PF Organisation office Jammu in a meeting held here today resolved to stress the Provident Fund Commissioner, J&K to conduct Departmental Promotional Committee (DPC) meeting immediately. They pointed out that employees are facing stagnation since long and despite assurance by the higher authorities nothing has been done in this regard.
They pointed out that the employees placed at the posts of Junior/Senior and Head Assistant are facing severe stagnation for the last 10-15 years. The time bound, promotions are also pending in the department. Moreover, different posts of Administrative Officers, Assistant Provident Commis-sioners, Senior PF Inspectors, Inspectors etc are lying vacant and they were not filled up since long. No heed is being paid by the Higher authorities towards the problem. They sought the intervention of governor into the matter.
