JAMMU, Aug 1: A civilian was seriously injured in firing by the Pakistani troops on the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district last night.
Injured has been identified as Mohammad Bashir, 40, a resident of village Pukherni, located close to the LoC in Nowshera sector.
Reports said the civilian was heading home at around 9.50 pm last night when a bullet fired by Pakistan army hit him, causing him serious injuries. He was immediately evacuated from the site of firing and shifted to Sub District Hospital in Nowshera.
However, after first aid, he was referred to the Government Medical College, Jammu for specialized treatment.
