JAMMU, July 23: A meeting of the Displaced Medical Pensioners Forum was held here, today under the chairmanship of P K Koul in which various problems of pensioners were discussed.
Addressing the meeting P K Peshin urged the Government to solve the burning problem of pensioners by increasing Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month.
He urged the Governor to issue instructions to AG Office to expedite the pension cases pending there.
