REASI, July 12: Chassana police rescued seven bovine animals and arrested two smugglers.
According to a police official, during the intervening night of July 11 and 12, seven bovine animals were rescued by a team of police post Tulli at Ker Chetali from the clutches of two smugglers namely Bagh Hussain son of Hakim Din and Mohd Sadiq son of Moan, both residents of Phalni, Budhal, district Rajouri, who were carrying the bovines by foot towards Kashmir Valley without DM’s permission.
In this regard, a case FIR No 32/2019 U/S 188/RPC was registered at police station Chassana. The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of Zakir Shahien Mirza, SDPO Mahore and Shiv Kumar Chauhan, Additional SP Reasi and under the overall control and command of Nisha Nathyal, SSP Reasi.
