JAMMU, June 19: Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) today discussed its demands regarding regularization of jobs, promotions, expansion and cadre management.
Discussing the demands during a meeting of council members of the Association, speakers expressed displeasure over the non serious approach of administration on issues of expansion of Mechanical cadre as proposals for final approval has been for many years in civil secretariat.
They also criticized the State Government for non-utilization of Mechanical Engineering in the State, which they said, has given rise to ineffective public deliverance of services and unemployment. “The slow process of HRM wing regarding regularization, finalization of seniorities at all levels and non-filling of vacancies, especially at AE, AEE, XEn and CE level has affected fraternity by additional charge menace,” they said.
The meeting appealed the higher authorities to address the issues at an earliest without compelling the fraternity for confrontation mode.
