Jammu, May 17: A deputation of J&K Pensioners Association led by Abdul Majid Khan met Sangeeta Purswani, Deputy Accountant General (Pension) and demanded that cases of pension revision should be dealt on priority.
The deputation also submitted a memorandum containing its demands.
The Deputy Accountant General listened the deputation and said that despite departmental short comings, the pension cases of the State pensioners are being dealt with to the extent possible.
Krishan Singh, Association President; Jagdish Raj, Provincial President and General Secretary, Om Prakash Sharma were also present in the deputation.
