DODA, May 9: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gandoh Pritam Lal Thapa has ordered suspension of an ambulance driver attached with CHC Gandoh for violating Civil Services Rules.
As per official spokesman, a written complaint was received against Maneer Ahmed, Driver, CHC Gandoh that for the last two months he is disturbing the local agents at bus stand Gandoh and mostly keeps the ambulance parked in bus stand area even his duty time.
Accordingly Dr Rajesh, Medical Officer CHC Gandoh was informed by SDM Gandoh to direct the concerned driver to mend his ways and perform his duties seriously.
“Again another complaint was received today that the driver is disturbing the players of ongoing cricket tournament at helipad Gandoh along with photographic evidences”, spokesman said, adding that SDM Gandoh visited the hospital and found that as per the roaster maintained in CHC Gandoh, the driver was supposed to remain present in the hospital from 8 am to 8 pm, but instead of remaining present in the hospital, the driver was found indulging in different other activities in violation of Civil Services Rules.
The spokesman said that upon perusal of attendance registered, it was found that the driver had even marked the attendance of May 10, 2019 in advance today itself.
“SDM Gandoh Pritam Lal Thapa has placed driver Muneer Ahmed under suspension with immediate effect and attached him with the office of Tehsildar Bhalessa (Gandoh)”, the spokesman said, adding that Tehsildar Bhalessa (Gandoh) has been directed to conduct detailed enquiry in the matter and submit the report within two weeks.
