REASI, Mar 29: A deputation of erstwhile Provincial GTU/JKSRTC Pensioners Association led by S. Ajit Singh Adyal, Association president met Bilal Ahmed Bhat, Managing Director, JKSRTC.
The deputation put-forth the issues of GTU pensioners and JKSRTC employees.
The deputation also raised the issues like non-implementation of SRO 333 of 2018, anomalies in time bound promotions under SRO 14 of 1996 and SRO 28 of 1996, grade pay anomaly in Govt Order No. 140-f of 2017 dated 1.04.2017.
Among other issues were outstanding arrears of 6th Pay Commission, HRA/CCA from 1992 to 1993 and dividing the pensioners into qualifying service of 33, 30, 28 and 20 years to be consolidated into one category as per Central Govt and consideration of additional pay dues as are admissible to other such services being essential service.
The Managing Director assured the deputation to refer the matter to higher authorities for consideration by the government sympathetically.
K.L Sharma, Isher Dass, Suram Singh Chib, Ajit Parkash, Solakhan Singh, O.P Lakhnotra, B.D Sharma, Sharif Ahmed, Darshan Kumar and Mohd Salim Querishi were present in the deputation.
