JAMMU, Mar 29: Shemrock Elites Playway School, Sarwal Jammu celebrated its 1st Annual Day at the Auditorium of Directorate of Information, Bahu Plaza, here today.
To honour and appreciate the achievers, Annual Prize Distribution Fun-ction for session 2018-19 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Social worker and eminent thinker, Rajeev Charak presided over the function as chief guest.
The function began with welcome address followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The function witnessed various cultural programmes showing different facets of Indian culture.
Patriotic feeling was also imbibed in everyone through the performance. The main highlight of the day was the skit performed by the little Shemstars with a theme “Mujhe Samjo’. The skit featured the system of today’s busy life with busy parents unable to give proper time to the kids.
The annual report of the session was also presented on the occasion.
On the occasion, certificates were distributed among the students and the staff members by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the children for their fabulous show.
