KISHTWAR, Feb 13: Congress leaders from Kishtwar and Himalayan Buddhist Association Padder have demanded immediate release of ex-gratia besides other relief to the 32 families of Tun village in Padder teshil whose houses were completely destroyed in a devastating fire yesterday.
A joint delegation of PCC State secretary, Thakur Jugal Bhandari, member district Advisory Board for Development of Kissans, Shamsher Singh Bhandari and representatives of Himalyan Buddhist Association Padder met Minister of State with independent charge Revenue and Relief, Aijaz Ahmed Khan and urged him that immediate steps be taken for the rehabilitation of these families who have become totally shelterless and whose entire property was razed to ground in devastating fire.
They also demanded free ration for one year to these families.
