DODA, Mar 9: In a meeting here today, shopkeepers of Gandoh framed a new body with name Gandoh Development Committee (GDC).
A handout stated that Shah Nawaz has been elected as president of GDC while Haji Mushtiq Ahmed was elected as its Chairman.
Shatish Kumar and Mohd Hanif have been elected as Vice Chairmen, Mohd Saleem as General Secretary, Mohd Shafi and Mohd Ayoub as Secretaries, Shabir Ahmed as Vice President and Bashir Ahmed as Treasurer.
On this occasion the elected members of GDC took oath that they will work for the development of the area and will also look for solutions for day-to-day problems being faced by the shopkeepers there.
The newly elected GDC president, Shah Nawaz while speaking on the occasion assured the shopkeepers that he will work for their welfare and highlight their issues before the administration for redressal.
