4 arrested with Rs 13,000 stake money

JAMMU, Nov 22: Residency Road Police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 13,000 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Residency Road Police Post conducted raid and nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 13,000 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar of Pacca Danga, Omar, son of Jog Raj Sharma of Shahedi Chowk, Abdullah, son of Abdul Aziz of Baramullah and Sunny, son of Avtar Krishan of Nanak Nagar Jammu.
All the five gamblers have been booked under section 13 Gambling Act by Residency Road Police.
Police team led by Incharge Residency Road Police Post SI Ashwani Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO City Inspector Vishal Sharma, SDPO North Varun Jandial, SP City Amritpal Singh and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
