JAMMU, July 13: One person was arrested today with heroin by Miran Sahib police.
According to a police official, on suspicion, a pedestrian identified as Ajay Thappa, son of Madan lal Thappa, resident of Chattha, was intercepted today by a police team at Balol naka.
He said on search of the belongings of the pedestrian, 1.5 gram of heroin was recovered, which was seized by the police. “In this connection, a case under NDPS Act has been registered at police station Miran Sahib and the accused arrested”, he added.
The arrest and recovery was made by a team of Miran Sahib police led by SHO, Inspector Ajit Singh, under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura, Sourabh Prasher, SP Headquarters Jammu, RC Kotwal and overall supervision of SSP Jammu, Vivek Gupta.
