Police seeks help in tracing missing men

SRINAGAR, May 28:  Police today sought help from general public about a mentally unstable and an elderly man missing from their homes in Srinagar and Anantnag.
A Police spokesman said that one Ghulam Hassan Sheikh reported that his father Mohammad Shaban, a resident of Chinar Bagh Srinagar who is mentally unstable is missing since Saturday.
In this regard, a missing report was lodged in Police Station Kothi Bagh and search to trace out the missing person has been started.
“Anybody having any information regarding the said missing person may kindly inform Police Station Kothi Bagh on 9596770623 or PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551, 01942477568 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 100,” spokesman said.
Police also sought help of the general public in tracing a missing man aged about 50-52 years of Anantnag district.
One Naseema Bano reported that her husband Mohammad Ramzan Ahanger, a resident of Changoo Verinag is missing since Friday. Furthermore, it has been reported that the said missing person is suffering from mental disturbance.
“Anybody having any information regarding the missing man may kindly inform Police Station Dooru on 9596777627, 9596777644 or PCR Anantnag on 9596777669, 01932-222870 or 94190-41940,” said the police spokesman.
