Excelsior Correspondent POONCH, Dec 10: A minor girl, allegedly kidnapped from Surankote area of district Poonch was recovered by police from Mumbai. A police spokesman said one Shazia Kouser, daughter of Mohd Amin, resident of Fagla in Surankot was allegedly kidnapped by one Mushtaq Hussain, son of Fazal Hussain, resident of Lasana on December 1, 2012. Parents of the girl lodged an FIR No. 245/ 2012 in this connection. SP Poonch Shamsheer Hussain framed a team and after getting some clues the team led by SI Suresh Sharma moved to Mumbai. The Poonch police seeking assistance from Mumbai police managed to recover the girl and arrest the accused. He was brought to Poonch last night. The police sent the girl for medical examination at Poonch hospital and later handed over the parents. The accused has been sent to police lock up.
