JAMMU, Jan 31: J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Account-ants of India, organized a seminar on `Recent Developments in GST including Blocked Credit and E-Way Bill, Critical Analysis of Tax Invoice and other documents and emerging opportunities for CA professionals in GST’.
CA  Charanjot Singh Nanda was guest speaker on the topic of emerging opportunities for CA Professionals in GST while  CA  Navya Malhotra was guest speaker on Blocked Credit and E-Way Bill and CA. Suresh K Malhotra was guest speaker on the topic of Tax Invoice and other documents.
The first technical session was presented by CA Navya Malhotra who gave a very detailed presentation on the Blocked Credit and E-Way Bill. He also addressed the queries raised by the members on related issues.
During the second technical session, CA  Charanjot Singh Nanda addressed the members giving detailed overview of the recent developments in GST and opportunities for Chartered Accountants in GST regime. He also answered various queries raised by the members on the subject.
In the third and final technical session, CA  Suresh K Malhotra addressed the members and gave them  detailed information about the Tax Invoices and other documents. He also answered various queries raised by the members.
CA  Anish Abrol, Secretary of the branch,  delivered the inaugural address and  introduced the guests.
CA Ashwani Khajuria, Executive Committee Member,  presented a welcome address while CA Shalay Razdan, Executive Committee Member of the branch,  presented the vote of thanks.
