Governor, CM greet people on Losar

JAMMU, Dec 19: On the auspicious occasion of Losar, the Ladakhi New Year, Governor N. N. Vohra has conveyed his hearty greetings to the people of Ladakh.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor observed that the festival of Losar symbolizes the high traditions of love, tolerance, amity, communal harmony and brotherhood, which the people of Ladakh have cherished and nurtured over the centuries.
The Governor wished the people a Happy Losar and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also greeted people on the occasion of Losar.
In her message, the Chief Minister hoped the festival rejuvenates the age-old tradition of love, tolerance and brotherhood, among the people and brings along joy, happiness and peace.
The Chief Minister has prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State on the occasion.
