Srinagar, Dec 19: Government today informed High Court that steps for appointment of Commissioner Food Safety have been taken and it will be placed before forthcoming Cabinet meet for its nod.
State counsel M I Dar (AAG) submitted before the Division Bench of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey that he has been informed by the Commissioner Secretary GAD that the memo has been prepared and all steps are being taken for placing it before the Cabinet.
“Submission is alright. In terms of the earlier order we have directed that the matter shall be placed before the Cabinet meeting which is scheduled on 21 instant, same be done”, Justice Mir and Justice Magrey directed.
State Counsel also informed the court that the vehicle to Presiding Officer FSAT Jammu, to his information will be provided by today, however, for Srinagar FSAT replacement will be done within week.
