JAMMU, Dec 15: Dogra Degree College organized an extension lecture today on the topic “How to groom yourself for the corporate world” to benefit the staff and students of BBA, BA and B Com in the college conference hall.
Chairman Dogra Educational Trust, Gulchain Singh Charak in his address gave a brief of the opportunities available to a management graduate in the corporate sector and suggested the opportunities which could be availed in the tourism sector especially in Jammu region.
The resource person for the day was Prof Dr IC Gupta, Dean Management Devi Ahilya Bai University Indore, who while speaking explained in detail with examples and illustrations that the main aim of management studies was to develop all men to their greatest efficiency and prosperity and to enhance production and productivity, decrease cost of production and maximize prosperity both for employer and employees having common interests.
Dr Deepak Raj Gupta, Director, International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM), University of Jammu was also present as a special guest on the occasion and while speaking highlighted the management mantras and elaborated upon the day’s topic by giving real life examples.
Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Bela Thakur and Principal, Dogra Degree College were also present on the occasion.
The stage was conducted by Rajni Kumari, while vote of thanks was presented by SC Khajuria, Director Administration and Campus Development.
