UDHAMPUR, Dec 10:  Expressing serious concern on  unabated unemployment, ex-MLA and NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia blamed that coalition partner BJP was  ignoring the rights of educated unemployed youth of Jammu region. He reiterated that discrimination in employment sector would be ended after the creation of separate Jammu State.
Addressing a gathering at village Kotli of Udhampur constituency, former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia made a scathing attack on ruling BJP for ignoring the rights of Jammu youth in employment sector. “Recently 28 Junior Assistants were appointed in Civil Secretariat and there was only a single youth from Jammu region while lion’s share has been given to Kashmir province,” he said.
Mankotia alleged that from the last 3 years, PDP-BJP coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir was ignoring the unemployed educated youth of Jammu region as 90 percent jobs share has been given to Kashmir while Jammu got only 10 percent share in employment.
The NPP president reiterated that youth of Jammu region would get their right in employment only after the creation of separate Jammu state.
While addressing the gathering former Sarpanch of Sansoo Panchayat criticized the coalition Government for its failure to provide potable drinking water and electricity. He also criticized the biased attitude of the administration for selective macadamization of roads and those who are associated with the particular party.
