PHE workers to hold protest if demands not redressed

JAMMU, Nov 26: PHE Workers Welfare Association, Jammu province will start agitation by holding one day protest in the premises of Chief Engineer PHE Department Jammu on December 11 if the demands are not redressed.
This was stated by Subash Verma, General Secretary of the Association while interacting with media persons here today.
He stated that the Government has announced regularization police of the daily rated workers on October 23 this year, but the Government had failed to publicize its policy.
Verma demanded minimum wage and month wise wage for all sorts of PHE workers and also demanded regularization of all the workers after completion of their seven years of services.
Among others present were Bakshi Singh, Provincial President, Ravi Kumar, President of Daily Wager Wing of the Association, Surjeet Singh, Ram Labhaya, Choudhary Mohammad Shafi, Lal Chand, Kulbhushan Nanda, Yash Paul Singh, Manzoor Ali, Raju Jamwal and Vishwa Nath Dubey.
