DODA, Oct 27: Dessa and Bhalla police rescued 10 bovine animals and arrested three persons, a police official said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Qasim, son of Abdullah Naik and Bashir Ahmed, son of Mangta Bhat, both residents of Manjmi Dessa and Javed Iqbal, son of Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Bai Basti Hamirpur, District Doda, the official added.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Dessa and Bhaderwah Police Stations and investigation started.
Police teams led by SHO Dessa and Incharge Bhalla Police Post made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftakhar Ahmed, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Kumar and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir Khatan.
